First things first.
If you're 35, act your fucking age.
Second, if your going to be a GM/M of a place, you need to have a backbone, and some balls.
Third, be a little bit more professional when you ARE a GM/M/SS
that last db to post a comment is gonna love this....then again so do i.
Do you know anyone who has ever been fired for something on their facebook?
What about someone who got fired in a comment over facebook?
No?
YOU DO NOW!
(lmao)
Here's the story...
Remember I work at Panera Bread.
The other day, my one manager bugged out on me for not doing coffees....alright whatever.
I've done a lot for everyone all the time at Pbread. Anyone will back me up on this, and too my knowledge and if I'm wrong, they should have corrected me a LONG time ago.
Anyway, this person was out for me for reasons I don't know and I told everyone that. And the messages she left were directed at me everytime.
"we need new associates, out with the old, in with the new!"
So now, a few days ago, I make a comment about a great employee.
"So&So1 is better than So&So2"
No negative reaction, and not once did I EVER say that So&So2 was a BAD employee, nor did I say anything negative about 2 during this day, during this conversation, nothing.
And the person I told it to, my gm, laughed about it. And before then, I told him it was a great discission.
Later, I ask my GM to pull my drawer....no answer.
I asked the Mngr, and he said no, but this was him and his personality, and it wasn't an angry "no"
GM BUGGED OUT ON ME.
What did I do?
So I went in back and said "Are you mad at me for saying nice things about your new Shift Supervisor?"
He said no and started yelling at me about the "1 is better 2" comment.
Honestly, I couldn't even comprehend what he was saying except for the last thing, being "Oh, thats REAL productive."...What?
"I said one thing about "1" once" and I walked away.
So out of anger, ON MY FACEBOOK STATUS I WROTE:
"Thinks her GM is jealous, hypocritical and a sometimes psychotic asshole."
And I felt better. Instantly, so I changed my status and got over it. Whatever.
I expressed me anger over facebook, like most everyone I know does.
And people have said way worse things about him behind is back than I just did on Facebook.
So, a Manager, the one who's after me even though I always liked her, told my GM, GM he could fire me for slander, but wouldn't.
But I did.
Slander?
I'm not at work. I'm not on the clock. I didn't start a fight.
IT'S FUCKING FACEBOOK AND YOU FUCKING PISSED ME OFF.
Now, it get's better.
The next day, Manager left me a comment.
"ur gm was an asshole. u r fired!"
So I can't call him an asshole on facebook, but you can?
That's cool.
There's my story. People think it's crazy. I think it's crazy.
Laugh all you want, this is funny.
I guess if I can't talk about shit on facebook, there's nowhere I can.
Freedom of speech mother fuckers! Can't take that away from me.
